Parents as Learning Partners (PALP)
Parents as Learning Partners (PALP) gives parents and caregivers the opportunity to join their child’s classroom and help lead a fun, hands-on learning experience.
PALP is coordinated by the Class Parents for each classroom in partnership with the teacher. Sessions are typically held once a month and last approximately 45 minutes.

What happens during PALP?
Parents and caregivers work with the teacher and Class Parents to plan activities that complement what students are learning while giving families a chance to share their interests, experiences, and talents with the class.
Activities can take many forms: read-alouds, art and music projects, science experiments, cultural heritage presentations, and educational games.
Interested in leading an activity? Reach out to your room’s Class Parents or contact our coordinator at class-parent-coordinator@pa101.org.
