Welcome to the Parents’ Association of P.S. 101Q — The School in the Gardens. We are dedicated to enriching our children’s education through community events, classroom support, residencies, and family engagement.
What We Do Together
Arts & Residencies
We fund enriching cultural arts and theater residency programs that bring professional performing artists directly into every student’s classroom.
PALP & Classroom Support
Through Parents as Learning Partners (PALP), family volunteers collaborate with teachers to lead hands-on lessons, experiments, and projects.
School Community Events
From Monster Mash to One-oh-onederland and the International Dinner, we create joyful, memorable community traditions for all PS 101Q families.
📅 Monthly PA General Meetings
PA Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. Morning meetings offer an in-person and virtual option, and evening meetings are held virtually. All parents and guardians are automatically members and warmly welcome!
The P.S. 101Q Parents’ Association is an independent 501(c)(3) organization and is not operated by the NYC Department of Education.
